For the first time The Whittlebury Magazine is published on line in addition to the paper copies which are provided for, and delivered to, all villagers free of charge.

This will enable former residents and those who are just simply interested in Whittlebury to keep up to date with what has been going on in the village.

DEFIBRILLATOR AND BLS TRAINING

Now that the new community public access defibrillator has been installed at the Reading Room and is ready for use, the next step is a training session on how to use it together with basic life support.

A trainer from East Midlands Ambulance Service will run a session on THURSDAY 13th JULY 2017, 7.30-9.30pm, at the Reading Room.

NEW DEFIBRILLATOR FOR THE VILLAGE

The Parish Council is pleased to announce that a new community public access defibrillator (CPAD) has been installed at the Reading Room, Whittlebury. In the unfortunate circumstance of someone collapsing in the village, the 999 call to the ambulance service will flag up information about the CPAD in the ambulance control room and the caller will be given the access code to the defibrillator cabinet.. WHITTLEBURY COUNTRY FAIR 2017

It is with regret that it has been decided not to hold a Country Fair this year.

A provisional date had been set for Saturday 2nd September but due to uncertainty about the resources that would be available on the day - particularly the number of volunteer helpers - as well as doubt about being able to run a classic car show as in previous years and whether or not the stall holders would participate again - it was agreed that a Fair this year would be too difficult an undertaking..
