REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 2020 IN WHITTLEBURY

There will be a short Act of Remembrance on Sunday 8th November 2020 at the village war memorial starting at 1050. The whole service will be in the one location and there will be no church service as in previous years.

People are asked to respect social distancing, to observe the 'Rule of Six' and to wear a face covering if possible. Regrettably there will be no singing.

CLOSURE OF THE READING ROOM

Due to the newly re-imposed Covid-19 lock down restrictions, the Reading Room will be closed from Thursday 5th November 2020 until further notice. This means that events like The HUG Friday coffee mornings will not take place.

THE HUG COFFEE MORNING HAS REOPENED

At last! After months of Covid-19 lockdown, the Reading Room Management Committee is pleased to announce that The HUG coffee mornings have reopened as of Friday 21st August 2020, with the usual opening times of 10.00 am to 12.00 midday.
