WHITTLEBURY GOOD NEIGHBOUR SCHEME FETE
The Whittlebury Good Neighbour Scheme fete held in stunning early autumn weather on Saturday 14th September was an outstanding success both for the Scheme and the village.
A total of approximately £860 was raised and the Organising Committee of the WGNS is grateful to all those villagers who manned stalls, helped with setting up and dismantling, donated raffle and tombola prizes, and attended.
The contribution of Whittlebury Park and managing director, Charles Sargeant, is also acknowledged for providing a generous raffle prize of dinner for four in Murray's Restaurant at Whittlebury Hall, as well as sponsoring the Scheme with a signicant donation of money.
Andy Collins and Whittlebury Bakery are also thanked for providing a number of cakes and sausage rolls free of charge for sale.
