ROAD CLOSURES IN SILVERSTONE
Due to long awaited roadworks in Silverstone towards the end of the month and into July, there will be road closures in the village that could affect Whittlebury residents travelling in the area.
On Monday 21st June, resurfacing work will start on the Brackley Road from the Hazelborough Woods car park on the northbound A43 slip road up to the Dadford Road. This will commence at 0900 Monday and be completed by 1630 on Tuesday 22nd June. Road closures are expected both days between those times.
Starting Wednesday 23rd June and lasting until Friday 2nd July - with no weekend working - resurfacing will take place from Murswell Lane (opposite the new Bovis housing development) up to Little London by the new school and then from Little London to the layby past the school with, again, road closures.
